Globo’s Brazil Avenue to Premiere in France

SÃO PAULO: The popular Brazilian telenovela Brazil Avenue is set to make its French debut tomorrow during prime time on the France Ô channel.

The drama, which originally aired on Brazil’s Globo network, follows young Nina (Débora Falabella) as she struggles to recover the life stolen by her stepmother Carminha (Adriana Esteves). The telenovela has already been sold to more than 120 countries, most recently airing on Mexico’s Azteca.

France Ô is part of national broadcaster France Télévisions. The channel has aired past Globo telenovelas such as The Clone, Seize the Day and Destiny River.
